Assistant Project Manager
Mainstream Renewable Power is looking for an Assistant Project Manager, US Offshore to work with the offshore team to secure and develop significant projects in US waters. The Assistant Project Manager will play an important role in helping to identify opportunities, understand and mitigate site-specific risks and to accelerate and maximise value from Mainstream’s offshore development program in the US.
Business Development Manager: North Africa (Fixed Term Contract)
A fixed term contract to drive new business development in the North Africa region, notably Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Egypt. The role will involve development of business and relationships with key stakeholders in new markets, both from a territorial and solutions perspective. This will involve the identification and evaluation of relevant opportunities and key stakeholder relationships. The New Business team will often be the first point of contact for a new prospect for Mainstream and the visible face of the company to third parties. Consequently, there is significant responsibility is to ensure that off-takers, whether private or public, or other developers commit to do business with Mainstream, and that those opportunities are of a high quality. The successful candidate will be experienced in preparing concise summary documents for senior management and board discussions. This candidate will be comfortable in presenting to the Mainstream leadership team and board if required. This candidate will be able to understand and assess risks and opportunities in a given market and/or technologies. He/she will contribute, and work with colleagues, to prepare a final recommendation to senior management on whether to pursue a market and/or opportunity, and on what basis.
The Corporate Lawyer will provide general advice to MRP Brazil and its affiliates in several matters pertaining to the development, financing, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects in Brazil, including solar and wind farms
Country Manager Brazil
Mainstream Renewable Power is firmly on track to becoming one of the world’s first pure-play renewable energy majors, specializing in the development of onshore and offshore wind and solar projects. It is focused on expanding its current development portfolio of 16.9 GW with plans to bring 5.5 GW to financial close by 2023. In 2021, Mainstream signed an equity investment deal with Aker Horizons to acquire 75% of Mainstream to accelerate the global expansion plans ahead of a planned IPO. In 2022, Mitsui invested EUR 575m in Mainstream to further accelerate growth.
As an Environment Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of the EIA and ESIA from the development phase to the Financial Close stage, and continue maintain responsibility for environmental and social monitoring during Construction and Operation phase.
As Environmental Manager, you will be responsible to provide expert environment advice in relation to Mainstream´s business in Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our projects comply with local environmental legislation and that international best practices are adopted. During the construction phase you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental commitments for each project.
Summary of Role: The Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) Manager will be responsible for the delivery of financial planning, forecasting and analysis including management of cashflows across the South African business. The FP&A manager will also be responsible for management reporting of results and ensuring the communication of results is tailored for different stakeholders within the business. The role will involve significant liaison across the Mainstream business including the department heads, commercial, development, construction and operational functions and the corporate finance and FP&A teams. This role will report into the Head of Finance, South Africa and work closely with the Finance Manager for South Africa.
Finance Manager – Private Markets
The Finance Manager - Private Markets will focus on projects within the private market, working with the commercial team to bring successful projects to Financial Close. This role will be responsible for the monthly management reporting during construction and will ensure the projects are built on time and within budget.
Summary of Role: The Finance Team in South Africa is currently looking for a Financial Accountant to join the team to assist in preparing financial information, including monthly management reporting across the South African business. The role includes taking responsibility for controlling the flow of transactions of the Developments projects and to interact with team members and stakeholders. We are looking for a team member who is ambitious, eager to learn and who is keen to work in a challenging fast paced environment.
Financial Accountant - APAC
This is a key role in the finance team who will work in conjunction with the Head of Finance, APAC to manage the financial reporting, management reporting and related requirements of non-project related entities in Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia and new markets. This will require a commercial mind, an international outlook and an ability to work cross functionally with the Operations and Commercial teams.

Junior Commercial Associate: Project Management and Co-ordination
Summary of Role: The Junior Commercial Associate (JCA) role is within the Commercial team of Mainstream South Africa. The key aim of the role is to support the New Markets team focused on new business opportunities, revenue streams, innovative technology integration (solar, wind and batteries - hybrids), financial mechanisms and partnerships. Activities will cover all aspects of project management to support the sales team, business growth and project implementation. Additionally, the JCA will lead the administration function of the team, ensuring there is synergy between all the team members, documents are filed correctly, notes are taken and a track record is kept of all key decisions. The JCA will be the backbone of the New Markets team, ensuring the team has all the necessary structures, processes, and information to achieve their goals. The JCA will also support the wider commercial team’s bidding and financial close processes as and when required.
Junior Energy Analyst
A Junior Energy Analyst based in Cape Town will be focused on South African market and supports emerging markets in the Africa region. The position does not require previous experience in wind or solar analysis or software. The position is supported by the central Energy Analysis Group (EAG) staff and works closely with Development, Procurement and Commercial teams. The role location is in Cape Town.
Meteorological Station Manager, Vietnam

Senior Finance Manager – Construction
Summary of Role: The Senior Finance Manager - Construction will be responsible for managing the project finances during construction of wind and solar projects, ensuring the reporting obligations under the Construction Management Agreements as well as Facility and Shareholder Agreements are met. This role will manage the Finance team responsible for the successful construction of the projects on time and within budget, with detailed and accurate reporting provided to various stakeholders. The role will collaborate and work with other team members across the business to bring projects to financial close and manage the projects through construction before successfully handing over to the operations team.
Senior Tax Manager
Reporting to the Head of Group Tax based in Ireland, with a local reporting line to the APAC Finance Director based in Singapore, this is a key role in the finance team who will work in conjunction with the Finance Director for Asia to lead the development of not only the Finance team for Singapore, but also act as a key resource on future transactions in Singapore and Asia working cross functionally with the Operations and Commercial/Business Development teams.
