Our Global Development Standard
No matter where in the world, when you see a Mainstream project, you know it has been delivered to our unique Global Development Standard.
Our in-house Global Development Standard is the result of decades of experience all across the world. It is our comprehensive and continually improving process that ensures all our projects are delivered to the same high quality, even when local regulations don’t require it.
Building sustainability into development
In committing to best-in-class practices, our Global Development Standard is focused on mitigating risk and seizing opportunity. It enables us to prioritise the safety of colleagues and contractors, to build positive relationships with local communities, and to leave the lightest footprint possible on the environment. It spells out how we do things at Mainstream, and in a word that’s ‘sustainably’.
We operate in many jurisdictions so we take the best practice globally and we apply it locally, and that’s our Global Development Standard
Bart Doyle - Chief Operating Officer
Mainstream's Global Development Standard along with its industry foresight and track record in delivery makes our projects an attractive investment proposition.
Aoife McMahon - Head of CEO Office
Investors like the IFC and the Rockerfeller Brothers have a mantra to do well while doing good. It's clear that they see the opportunity to invest in emerging markets but they need a trusted partner to do it with and Mainstream is that trusted partner.
