We are one of the leading renewable energy companies in Chile with operations also in Colombia.

We established our presence in the region in 2008 and today we employ over 130 people here.

Through our gigawatt scale platforms, we are playing an important part in helping Latin America in its energy transition.

In Chile, our 1.4 GW Andes Renovables platform will power the equivalent of one in every six Chilean homes when fully operational, providing new jobs, training and helping to build a long-term sustainable industry in the region.

Our solar and wind development pipeline is actively growing with more than 2.2 GW in development in Chile, and more than 700 MWs in development in Colombia.

Manuel Tagle

General Manager, Chile

Manuel Tagle stepped into the role as General Manager of Mainstream’s LatAm business in April of 2018.

He has extensive experience in the energy industry, particularly in renewables. Prior to joining Mainstream, Manuel was CEO of SunPower and Commercial Manager of Sociedad GNL Mejillones.

Manuel has a degree in civil industrial engineering and an MBA from the Universidad de Desarrollo, Chile. He is currently the Treasury Director of ACERA, the Chilean Association of Renewable Energy.

Roberto Postigo

Head of Investments and Asset Management, Chile

Roberto Postigo is the Head of Investment & Asset Management for Latam at Mainstream Renewable Power, supervising asset performance, financing structure and leading the implementation of value-add investment strategies.

Previously, he worked at EnfraGen, LLC, where he led the acquisition, financing and integration of over 400 MW across multiple countries, while overseeing the operational and financial performance of EnfraGen’s 2.1 GW energy transition portfolio.

Roberto holds an Industrial Civil Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Corporate Finance Diploma from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.

Mariangel Mandiola

Mariangel Mandiola

Head of Legal & Compliance, Chile

Mariangel joined Mainstream in March 2022 to lead the Legal function, delivering key outcomes in the modernisation of contracts, the review of management and corporate structures, and the strengthening of transparency. She has also contributed to the development of more robust governance policies and improved the availability of information for shareholders, among other initiatives.

She brings extensive experience in the energy and mining sectors, having served as Regional Legal Manager for Latin America at Vestas, and previously as a lawyer at AES Andes and Freeport-McMoRan in Madrid. She was also recognised as part of the third generation of Women in Energy Chile 2021 by WEC Chile.

Mariangel holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has completed studies in International Business at the University of London, UK.
