Manuel Tagle

Manuel Tagle stepped into the role as General Manager of Mainstream’s LatAm business in April of 2018.

He has extensive experience in the energy industry, particularly in renewables. Prior to joining Mainstream, Manuel was CEO of SunPower and Commercial Manager of Sociedad GNL Mejillones.

Manuel has a degree in civil industrial engineering and an MBA from the Universidad de Desarrollo, Chile. He is currently the Treasury Director of ACERA, the Chilean Association of Renewable Energy.

Mariangel is a lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile, with studies in International Business from the University of London, UK. After twelve years of experience in the energy and mining sector as Regional Legal Manager for LATAM at Vestas, lawyer at AES Andes, Freeport McMoran in Madrid and standing out as part of the 3rd Generation of Women in Energy Chile 2021 of WEC-Chile; she joined Mainstream in March 2022 to lead the Legal area providing important results in actions of modernisation of contracts, review of management and corporate structure, transparency and contribution in policies of greater order, availability of information for shareholders, among others.

Javier Jaramillo

Javier joined Mainstream as Senior Construction Project Manager in 2019, his current role being Head of Construction & Technical Services for Latam.

Javier has over 18 years of experience, mainly related to mining and energy industries, and has been directly involved in renewable energy projects for 12 of those years.

Prior to joining Mainstream in 2019 as Senior PM for the WF Puelche Sur (156 MW), he worked with technology companies such as Vestas and Senvion on renewable projects in various Latin American countries. Subsequently, he assumed the leadership of the Construction & Technical Services Department with the aim of addressing the challenges associated with the finalisation of the Huemul and Copihue portfolios.

Javier holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Central University of Chile and a Master’s degree in Project Management from the Catholic University of the North.

Gabriel Prudencio

Head of BESS & Development, Chile

Gabriel leads development and BESS activities in Chile. He manages the renewable energies project portfolio and is responsible for the complete project development lifecycle from pre-feasibility to start of construction; as well as BESS projects both in development and operation phases.

Before joining Mainstream in 2022, Gabriel held different executive roles in other energy companies and has also been in leadership positions at the Ministry of Energy and in non-profit organizations working with infrastructure projects throughout Latin America. With close to 20 years of work experience Gabriel has vast knowledge in areas such as renewable energies, infrastructure and sustainability.

Gabriel holds a Civil Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He also earned his Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy in Columbia University.

Roberto Postigo is the Head of Investment & Asset Management for Latam at Mainstream Renewable Power, supervising asset performance, financing structure and leading the implementation of value-add investment strategies.

Previously, he worked at EnfraGen, LLC, where he led the acquisition, financing and integration of over 400 MW across multiple countries, while overseeing the operational and financial performance of EnfraGen’s 2.1 GW energy transition portfolio.

Roberto holds an Industrial Civil Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Corporate Finance Diploma from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez.
