Mainstream’s Rosie Scurr wins Achiever Award at Scottish Renewables Awards

Rosie Scurr accepts awardMainstream Renewable Power’s Environmental Manager for Scotland, Rosie Scurr, scooped the Achiever Award at last night’s Young Professional Green Energy Awards which took place in Glasgow. The accolade was awarded based on Rosie’s outstanding personal development and growth within her role. The event, which is organised by Scottish Renewables and attended by over 300 members, recognises the contribution being made by the next generation of thinkers, shapers and decision makers in Scotland’s renewable energy industry. Jenny Hogan, Director of Policy at Scottish Renewables told how 2016’s winners “all showed a very special spark”. She said: “The professionalism, imagination and determination showed by all our winners really does deserve praise. “The finalists are among the brightest up-and-coming stars in the renewables industry today, and all showed a very special spark. “Major projects and achievements often grab headlines, but creating energy is a collaborative business. I’m proud to work in renewables, and with talent like this coming through the ranks I’ve great hopes for the future of the industry in Scotland.”
