This week the members elected the Association’s new Council and Governing Board, which is made up of a diverse team with extensive experience in the renewable energy industry.
Manuel has been a member of ACERA’s Council for the past three years and is an active supporter of renewable energy in Chile.

Commenting on his election, Manuel Tagle said: “After three years working with ACERA, I am very happy to continue working with the association and take up the role as vice president. I hope that together we can keep advancing towards a Chile that is powered 100% by renewable energy at competitive prices.
José Ignacio Escobar, President of ACERA said: “ACERA members are very happy with the recent election of our new directors and particularly with the appointment of our new vice president. Manuel Tagle is an excellent successor. He has extensive experience in the energy industry as well as in the private sector and has made a significant contribution to ACERA over the past few years in his role on the Council. I am very pleased that he will be working alongside us, supporting us with our day to day management and helping to promote a more sustainable and competitive Chile and successfully tackling the challenges that our members have set out for us for the future.”
