Summary of Role:

Mainstream Renewable Power is looking for a Senior Maintenance Specialist for its Renewable Power Plants. The role includes coordinating activities related to the maintenance of its facilities in power and park SSEE, with experience in control system administration, SCADA and telecommunications. This will involve contractor management in technical aspects, such as their performance in health, safety, and the environment.

What will you do? [Key Responsibilities and Activities]

  • Coordinate maintenance work in wind and photovoltaic parks.
  • Coordination of maintenance work in the BoP of the park.
  • Keep updated the databases of the control and SCADA systems of each park.
  • Prepare technical reports for the main maintenance aspects of the plants in operation.
  • Ensure the correct operation of plant and facility systems in accordance with the established technical specifications and the KPIs described in their contracts, especially with regard to the availability of facilities.
  • Participate in purchasing processes and technical specification of projects to improve the facilities in operation.
  • Provide technical advice to engineering teams in the development and conceptual design stages of new parks in order to optimize future O&M work.
  • Advise and recommend practices to contractor companies in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

Support technical staff in technical risk activities in equipment and systems to restore continuity of service.

What we require? [Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience]

  • Electrical, Electronic, Civil Engineer or equivalent, with more than 8 years of experience in operation and maintenance of wind farms, generation plants, substations and high voltage lines.
  • Deep knowledge in control systems, SCADA and telecommunications.
  • Knowledge of the main components of a wind / solar power plant.
  • Understanding of the main key performance indicators in a wind / solar power plant.
  • Demonstrable experience in maintenance of generation plants, substations, among others.
  • Demonstrable experience in engineering project management.
  • Excellent skills to work under pressure, attention to detail, without losing the broader scope.
  • Organized, efficient and good at prioritizing tasks, delivering on time and quality.
  • Good IT skills, including experience with the MS Office suite and Sharepoint.

The English language is an advantage.
