46 mw project sold to IKEA Group

Mainstream entered the Canadian market through a joint venture with local partner, Alberta Wind Energy Corporation. It subsequently developed, constructed and provided operational support for the 46 MW Oldman 2 wind plant in Alberta, Canada.
On completion of the wind plant in 2014, global retail furniture manufacturer, IKEA purchased the wind plant.
Mainstream exited the Canadian market in 2016.
