Mainstream's local teams have successfully obtained consent for 8.5 GW and delivered over 1 GW of wind projects into commercial operation in Canada, Chile, Ireland, South Africa, Senegal and the US.

The Oldman 2 wind farm in Canada was sold to IKEA when it reached commercial operation in 2014. The wind farm has a wind capacity factor of 40.9% and prevents the release of 107,120,000 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere each year.

Jeffreys Bay, South Africa

The 138 MW Jeffreys Bay wind plant in South Africa was Mainstream’s pilot wind project on the African continent. When it became operational in 2014, it was the largest wind farm on the continent.
