Manus O’Donnell
Corporate Finance Manager
Manus is currently responsible for funding Mainstream’s renewable development pipeline globally. Prior to joining Mainstream, Manus worked for 6 years in the Corporate Finance team at Airtricity where he focussed on developing, structuring and executing corporate and project level funding transactions for renewable energy projects in Ireland, UK, Sweden, US and China. Manus had previously worked for 3 years in corporate banking at Bank of Scotland, Ireland.
Manus holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, a Masters degree in Economics from University College Galway and an MBA from the Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.
Barry Hopkins
Senior Corporate Finance Executive
Barry joined Mainstream Renewable Power in 2008 with 7 years of investment banking experience.
Before joining Mainstream, Barry worked in the real estate investment banking group at Morgan Stanley in London where he focused on M&A, equity fundraisings and principal investments on behalf of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds. Prior to that, Barry spent over 3 years in the UK Mergers and Acquisition group at J.P. Morgan in London.
Barry holds a degree in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh and a Masters of Finance from Smurfit Business School, University College Dublin.
Bernard KiernanSenior Corporate Finance Executive
Bernard joined Mainstream Renewable Power in 2008 from Kingspan Group Plc where he worked as an Analyst. Prior to that, Bernard spent 6 years working with KBC Project Finance in Dublin. During his time with KBC, Bernard worked on numerous project finance transactions in both the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Bernard graduated from University College Cork with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters of Business Studies. Bernard is a member of the Association of Chartered Management Accountants.
Paul Corrigan
Corporate Finance Executive
Paul joined Mainstream Renewable Power in 2008 with 6 years of tax consultancy and corporate finance experience. Before joining Mainstream, Paul worked in IBI Corporate Finance advising on public company transactions in Dublin where he focused on M&A, equity fundraisings and general advisory. Prior to that, Paul spent 5 years in KPMG in Dublin working in the financial services tax department with a focus on corporate tax, property transactions and financial modelling.
Paul holds a degree in Economics and Finance from University College Dublin and a Masters in Finance and Economics from the London School of Economics. Paul is an Associate of both the Irish Taxation Institute and the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Tim Bills-Everett
Corporate Finance Associate
Tim joined Mainstream Renewable Power in 2008 after 4 years of business advisory and project finance experience with PKF (UK) LLP in London. Prior to joining Mainstream, Tim worked in the project finance model audit and build team in PKF’s management consultancy group, specialising in the energy sector where he provided financial model due diligence services to project sponsors and lenders.
Tim qualified as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 2008 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce, in Finance and Information Technology from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand.
