Meet some of the Mainstream Team

Leo QuinnLeo Quinn,  Dublin
"The goal of any business is to make profit, the added bonus of working for Mainstream is the knowledge that the end product of our business will make a real difference to societies, peoples and the environment.
The underlying strength of Mainstream is that it is driven by a clear vision and passion which engages the whole team. One of the many benefits of this is that we are all on the same wavelength and I believe it shows. We have a real passion for Renewables as well as the commitment and energy to make it happen."

"One of the best things about working at Mainstream is the culture and the responsibility we all have. We tend to be involved in all stages of the process, from market research, development and working with local partners and therefore no two days are ever the same. There are plenty of opportunities to travel within the company and to be based within a specific market for several months. I joined the Dublin office in May 2008 working in project development to identify opportunities within the renewable industry. I was based in Santiago, Chile for a few months working with local partners on a large project portfolio which was a great way to learn different cultures and languages."

Taylor Roark,  London

"Mainstream is definitely at the forefront by demonstrating that large-scale renewable energy can replace the entrenched, fossil-fuel dominated status quo. With a lean management hierarchy, good capitalisation and a commitment to working in strategic and local partnerships, Mainstream is pursuing an ambitious and driven plan to develop, construct and operate renewable energy projects at scale. As employees, we are encouraged to take responsibility, to make mistakes and learn from them and to work with governments, partners and stakeholders to envision and realise a low-carbon future. Interesting times, indeed! "

Tilman Schwencke, Berlin
"Mainstream has a firm conviction on the need for a sustainable and environmental friendly economy. So do I. To support renwables becoming the main source of energy, Mainstream allows thinking against the mainstream. Visionary, innovative and global thinking is something which is appreciated. That’s why we rather see the opportunity when others see the problem.
The global approach of Mainstream is a great and attractive challenge. And of course, working in offshore wind I appreciate Mainstream’s belief in this great technology. "

Andy Kinsella, Dublin
"Our vision is of a world breaking free from a slavish dependence on fossil fuels and of leading a global transition where renewable energy moves from an alternative to being the mainstream. It is a privilege to be part of the team that has the leadership, courage and vision to make this transition a reality."
