Fintan Drury

Chairman

Fintan Drury was appointed Chairman of Mainstream Renewable Power in February 2008.  He also holds the position of Chairman of sports event management company, PLATINUM ONE Ltd and of the world’s leading on-line hostel and budget accommodation provider, Web Reservations Limited.  Fintan was Chairman of Paddy Power plc for six years and remains a non executive director of the company.  He is a former Chairman of Ireland’s national broadcaster, RTE and a former board director of Anglo Irish Bank.

Fintan’s original career choice was journalism and he was a news and current affairs broadcaster during the 1980’s.  He qualified from University College Dublin in 1981 with a Masters in Political Science.
